What does BuildersCheck do?
BuildersCheck™ helps you instantly background-check builders and construction companies in New Zealand. It uses official government registers, news sources, director histories, and ‘Artificial Intelligence’ to flag potential risks.
How accurate are the results?
Results are based on publicly available data and ‘Artificial Intelligence’ analysis. While we do our best to flag red flags, we always recommend doing additional research for complete due diligence.
Is the service free?
BuildersCheck may offer limited free usage. After that, a small fee applies to generate detailed background reports. Pricing helps us cover AI and data-processing costs.
Do you store my scan results or personal data?
No. We do not store your search terms, company names, or personal information. All payments are handled securely via Stripe — we do not see or retain any card data.

Can I download the report?
Yes. Once your background scan is complete, you'll have the option to view and download the full report in PDF format.
